Services

Digital chest X-ray

Digital X-ray machines at chest clinics and hospitals help doctors find TB early, often before a person notices any symptoms.

Free of charge

Chest X-rays for TB screening and diagnosis are provided free of charge at district chest clinics.

Section 1 of 2

Why chest X-rays matter

A chest X-ray can show signs of TB in the lungs even before symptoms appear, so it is used both to diagnose TB and to screen people at higher risk, such as close contacts of TB patients.

Digital machines produce clear images within minutes and make it easy to share images with specialists for a second opinion.
